Pleasing, is the clothing and makeup line from acting, signing, and superstar Harry Styles. American Express sponsored a Pleasing branding and retail experience at our location on fashionable Abbot Kinney, Blvd. Our interior and huge exterior billboard mural were transformed to give fans a full Pleasing brand experience. News media documented excited fans lining up along the boulevard to purchase, and the Harry Styles American Express event gained impressive additional free branding and social media coverage.

Fanta Pop-Up

Fanta, the famous orange-flavored soft drink’s first-ever fragrance of its kind at our AK Pop-Up. Fanta describes its “wearable version” of the brightly colored soda as having “bubbly aspects of bright and juicy orange essence infused with a glimmering splash of tart lime and a sweet sprinkle of soft sugar.” “The Fanta Experience” featured an immersive, multi-sensory experience filled with popping, mind-bending flavors, designed to overwhelm and excite the senses. Less than one minute after the official launch time, the unique fragrance had completely sold out!

Havaianas launched their exclusive fashion collection at Venice Beach AK Pop-Up

Havaianas Pop-Up

The iconic Brazilian brand made the investment to step into AK Pop-Up to debut their range of Havaianas flip-flops and sandals. With AK Pop-Up being located only two blocks from the sand of world-famous Venice Beach the theme was a match. All the fashion items and the experiential space were reimagined by designer Joshua Vides, in his signature black-and-white illustration style. Vides performed live mural paintings as collectors snapped up the limited edition line. The return on investment for Havaianas was just over 300% and the art-styled 3D coconut tree facade helped gain P.R. coverage across multiple trade and fashion magazines, as well as valuable social media awareness.

Casper Pop-Up

In their ascendancy to global success, mattress pioneer Casper collaborated with AK Pop-Up. Celebrated for selling $1 million worth of mattresses within 28 days, Casper chose AK Pop-Up’s Abbot Kinney space and creative resources to craft an engaging brand video and a vibrant Sleeping Bears mural billboard. Just three years later, Casper’s has catapulted to international expansion.
